Swedish Massage is a very relaxing and therapeutic style of bodywork. It combines oils or lotion with an array of strokes such as rolling, kneading, and percussion to help the body improve its circulation. The benefits of this type of bodywork are wide-ranging and include relief from aches and pains, decreased stress levels in the body, enhanced mental clarity, improved appearance, and greater flexibility.
This is a beneficial massage when you haven't had a massage before or in a long time as it provides for release of tension without being too deep.
Therapeutic Massage is a type of massage that stimulates the body's natural ability to heal. It is beneficial for people who have repetitive motions in their jobs/activities, are healing from an injury/accident/surgery, or have chronic health issues.

This treatment may include essential oils, Reiki, the use of tuning forks, and/or healing stones if needed or desired.
Reiki is a Japanese form of energy work that cleanses and balances the energy system in the body. As a result, the body's natural self-healing mechanisms strengthen, helping to establish optimum health. During a session, I work directly with your energy field to remove blockages, detoxify your system, and restore your vital life force energy. Reiki utilizes a gentle laying on of hands to conduct the necessary energy force between us. The benefits of Reiki range from the release of habitual mental/emotional stress to alleviating chronic pain.

Chakra (Shah-Kra) is a Sanscrit word meaning wheels, and is often depicted in pictures and charts as the sun with its rays, or a wheel with spokes. In keeping with the Holistic approach to wellness, Chakra balancing addresses both the body and spirit.
There are seven chakras within the body that correspond with each of our seven endocrine glands and affect our physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual body. Imbalances or blocks can cause health problems. To cleanse and balance the chakras, I use gemstones, sound and guided breathing.
Cleansing and balancing the chakras help the physical body heal by releasing stored blocks accumulated through a lifetime of traumas and negative experiences. Healthy chakras allow the flow of pure energy to move freely from the lower to the higher chakras, and the natural state of abundance, prosperity and joy can be realized.
The temporomandibular joint opens your jaw. Some people have discomfort in this joint. This treatment includes work on the shoulders, neck and face with an option of work inside the mouth in order to relieve the discomfort.

I offer two aromatherapy treatments. Each treatment lasts about 30 minutes.
*Sinus treatment: This treatment includes essential oils to help open the sinuses, massage of the head, neck, and shoulders as well as foot reflexology sinus points.
*Invigorating foot treatment: This treatment includes essential oils to bring increased circulation and relaxation with massage of the feet and lower legs.
Either treatment can be added to a massage session for $20.
This service offers detox by placing your feet in a warm, salt water filled basin that has an array that passes a current through the water generating flowing negatively charged electrons.
